There´s always that one image in every trip, that postcard moment, that sticks in our mind. A landscape, a moment, a smile… something that, although fleeting, we will always remember when hearing that place’s name.

Nevertheless, at the Balearic Islands the overwhelming landscapes, the breathtaking beaches and the heart-stopping sunsets seem to be endless.

Each of the five islands has its own charm and singularities, as well as hundreds of unique spots to be discovered.

With all of them in mind, we have made a selection of the most magical and charming places in the Balearic Islands just for you. Get ready for unprecedented doses of beauty.

Sóller (Mallorca)

Right in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain area, this small village will surprise travellers with a collection of monuments that would overshadow many major european capitals. The modern Bank of Sóller, the façade of Can Prunera, the manorial houses and the Gran Via are just some of them. If that´s still not enough, the old tram that runs across the town´s streets will surely steal your heart.

Drach & Artà caves (Mallorca)

Two different caves, and both worth a visit. At Drach, if you´re not scared to go underground, enjoying a ride on a boat through Martel Lake after walking the cave´s passages is a unique experience. While you sail underground waters, you will be able to enjoy one of the daily classic music concerts. The other caves, Artà, were the inspiration for Jules Verne´s “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. When you get there, you´ll understand why.

Deiá (Mallorca)

The old stone and brick houses are spreaded all over the mountain. Here, beauty and calm have ruled the rhythm of life, turning Deiá over the years into an aspirational destination for great artists and writers, such as Robert Graves and William Walder.

Cala Turqueta (Menorca)

An incredible white sandy beach, surrounded by the transparent sea and exuberant vegetation. You could think we´re talking about Hawaii, but nothing further from reality. We´re still in the Mediterranean, in one of the most beautiful and photographed beaches in Menorca. Our recommendation: wake up early and enjoy the sunrise at this stunning spot.

Fornells (Menorca)

The typical mediterranean village, sprinkled with white houses that perfectly match the sea´s intense deep blue color. A couple of centuries ago, the british built here the Fornells Tower, a construction that attracts visitors for its peculiarity and, specially, its stunning views.

Valldemossa (Mallorca)

Art attracts art. The perfect proof of it is this small town which, not so long ago, housed for some time great artists and writers such as Unamuno, Rubén Darío, Borges and Chopin. Across its streets you´ll find a handful of art studios, craft workshops… that will turn your visit into a creative and inspiring adventure.

Cala d´Hort (Ibiza)

This beach, with waters so blue that can get you hypnotized and so crystalline that you won´t be able to avoid diving in, is the locals´ favorite. It´s the perfect spot to relax, close your eyes and embrace the feeling of being in paradise. From here you´ll get stunning views of Es Vedra, a small uninhabited island subject of multiple myths and legends.

Faváritx Lighthouse (Menorca)

At the end of a long walk, the lighthouse´s silhouette blunts over the horizon´s line and gets mixed with the sky. The outside of the structure is covered with black and white stripes that identify it and, beside it, a small house serves as company. Faváritx will make you dream and you´ll just wish to stay right there, at that same spot, forever.

Naveta d´Es Tudons (Menorca)

One of the island's best preserved relics, which keeps the reminiscence of the prehistoric origins of Menorca. La Naveta d´Es Tudons is a mortuary construction that represents the shape of a boat upside down. The monument is perfectly conserved despite its antiqueness, which might go back as far as 750 b.C.

After reading all of this… don´t you just feel like catching the first flight to the Balearic Islands?
